1....as+形容词原级+as...意为“……和……一样……”。
例：This table is as clean as that one.这张桌子和那张一样干净。
2....not as/so+形容词原级+as...意为“……不像……一样……”。
例：She is not as/so happy as she pretends.她并不像她假装得那么高兴。
3....as+形容词原级+不可数名词，复数可数名词+as...意为“……和……一样……”。
例：I have as many books as Tom.我和汤姆的书一样多。
4....as+形容词原级+a/an+可数名词单数+as...意为“……和……一样……”。
例：Most doctors think that medicine is as much an art as it is a science.多数医生认为医学既是一门科学又是一门艺术。
5.can't help but do/can't help doing...“禁不住做......”
例：While shopping, people sometimes can’t help being persuaded into buying something they don’t really need.购物时,人们有时会情不自禁被说服买一些他们并不真正需要的东西。
6.it is+形容词+(for sb.)to do...中形容词(adj)修饰的是动作(to do),侧重表现的是某件事是怎么怎么地。

例：Neither you nor I am in charge of the factory.既不是你也不是我管理该工厂。
9.would like...意为“想要……”。
例：I would like my mother to buy a new dictionary for me. 我想让妈妈给我买一本字典。
10.would rather do...would rather do...than do..., would do...rather than do...是常见的两种变化形式。表示“宁愿…，也不…”
