文章中的每一句话都有它的作用和目的，都是为作者的写作而服务的。有的是下层意思的铺垫，有的是上句话的结果，互相衬托，互相联系。阅读中常常就技巧性问题提问，测试读者对文章是否正确理解。这类题的命题方式有：

Example ：
If women are mercilessly exploited year after year，they have only themselves to blame. Because they tremble at the thought of being seen in public in clothes that are out of fashion，they are al-ways taken advantage of by the designers and the big stores. Clothes which have been worn only a few times have to be put aside because of the change of fashion. (2)解法：首选排除法，第一步认准关键词，第二步回归原文，定位，推理，(文中相近的，不能是和文章一摸一样的)
(3) 错误选项特征：
原地不动(和原文一样的)，
走得太远的(与文中意思相反或者文中未提到)
无关(与文章没有关系的)
